LXG "NAUTILUS" - SciFi sub kit

    http://www.hlj.com/product/wavtl-02

Just got the kit in the mail yesterday. The kit itself looks FANTASTIC!.
But no instructions came with the kit.

    Anybody else get instructions?

I think I can figure out where everthing goes. But it would be nice to be sure.
    Painting tips wouldn't hurt either.

          You got it, Andy! It

You got it, Andy! It is a Shadow scout ship from B5.
Sort of a space equivalent to a submarine.

BTW, the crisis has been averted. The instructions are available online at Hobbylink Japan. [quote]Hobby Search Japan has scans of the instructions in their listing of the kit. Go to the URL that features Gundam Etc. under"Others" in the category]

Now that I have a chance to actually finish the model I will put it in the assembly line.

          Pictures as soon as possible!

              Hi,

              Hi,

just wanted to mention that I also purchased this kit from Hobby Link Japan.

An exceptionally beautiful kit of the Nautilus, Nemo's ship in the hit film The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (known as League of Legend, in Japan). Fabulous filigree work on the hull will look amazing when you've finished. Please note that this kit will require glue and paint, as well as masking -- the filigree work is molded on the hull and is not chromed. Wave's beautiful molds have done this design justice, and they've even included a custom base to show it off when you've done!

I received it yesterday and I second what's been said before, it's a beautiful and very detailed looking kit! Also, delivery was very fast once the kit became availiable in stock again.

              Mine came complete with instructions!

Looks to be a nice, little kit. It's next on my list of things to do. I'm thinking it'll be a good two to three night buildup and a nice change from all of the technical mishmash of RC sub building.

I'm thinking that I'll be taking some liberties with the paint, though. I really don't like that pearlescent white paint job. I'll be going for a more realistic rusty metal finish. Maybe its what the LXG Nautilus will look like twenty years from the movie .

Now, now... no need for that, Andy.

Actually, I got that kit off the shelf last night after posting here and getting interested in taking a look at it.

This is a superb kit! The fit and finish is superb. Flash is virtually non-existent. Every part fits perfectly with the next. My only gripe was an ommission in the instructions in regards to the upper screw housings. They are in the box, however there are no instructions as to where or how to mount them. I figured it out on my own, of course, but it's still a pretty glaring ommission.
