Photographic record of a Subtech Albacore build

Got my Subtech Albacore from Mike Shubar this week and man is it a big boat compared to all the toy static subs I have, including the Trumpeter Seawolf.

Anyway, reason for this post, has anyone built this thing and kept a comprehensive photographic record of the build? Not saying the build notes are bad, but I would benefit from a Thor Permit build kind of photographic record if anyone has done one. A picture is worth a thousand words so they say....

    Any help much appreciated...

          Hi Byron,

          Send me an email

          Hi Byron,

Send me an email to sales@rcboats.com and I will send you a .pdf file with a series of photos of my own original Albacore build-up that I took about about 2 years ago.

I will shortly be updating the Albacore and Marlin manuals and will include several additional photos that should help aid assembly and clarify a few of the grey areas. Once these are available I will post them on the SubTech web site which I shall also be updating so that they can be downloaded.

            Hi Dave -
            FYI -

            Hi Dave -
FYI - When you update the SubTech site - I think Skip made an error in the labeling of the Dumas Akula as the CSS Akula.

I believe it should be CIS Akula (Confederation of Independent States-the old Soviet Union) rather than CSS (Confederate States of America) - unless this is the unbuilt follow-on design to the CSS Hunley
