Thanks guys. I think the setup I have right now might be a bit too fast, something like 30 rpm, but what the heck. Unfortunately the servo I modified is a bit too tall to fit. Maybe I will try a micro servo.

Rent 'Operation Pacific' with John Wayne and watch the scene when the look outs a top the periscope sheers talk about when one of them was stuck on a ferris wheel with this gal....a studio scene (shot from above looking down) while the actors say their lines. Good gander at a SJ radar, admittedly must be a prop, but a very very accurate one. Adm. 'Charlie' Lockwood was this film's technical advisor.
