New struts all brass with teflon bushings

They still need some extra filing on the joints; and a polish after that; but I think they look quite good
You can't just snap these into the hull like the plastic version; so i had to dig out the mounts to let them slip in

    Man I've got to get

Man I've got to get myself more tools so I can do this. I could say why don't you make a kit for this boat that includes everything from the props you made to this.

But I know how much work it is to do so I don't blame you at all for not doing so.

The work is great Steve and it really motivates me to be better at what I do. Got to get that lath and mill!

      I only used the lathe

I only used the lathe (housings) and my 14" bandsaw; I could have used the scroll saw for the flat brass; mostly a lot of filing

but if it encourages people to try harder;well that makes itall worth while; taking the hobby to the next level is what itis all about is it not?

      Thanks Steve

        Really nice work,I assume that

Really nice work,I assume that this bracket will be avalabile when the time comes for me to order along with the rest of your fine products .Is that a teflon bushing that you are using to hold the shaft, and does this add enough weight that you wouldn`t need to add much more ballast to trim your boat .I`ll be in touch.
        Regards,
        Mike

          Nope! this assemble will not

Nope! this assemble will not be for sale; I have figured it out now that time consuming parts like this will just not sell (no one will pay what they are worth) that took me 5 hours to make; it's not polished or anything; I have been at fitting it to the hull and aligning to the shafts since 7am this morning
The dog bones will be most likely the rest of the day on top of that
Basically this boat is a one off (not a future product test bed)
