    realistic speed ???????

    Hi guys

Ok I have worked out through the gears i have and the motor rpm I want to use for the Uboat
I have a speed of 132in/min or 1.5miles per hour 22mm pitch at 1825rpm; course there will be some slippage; but this is a close enough number
Is this too fast? not fast enough? just right?
    I have no idea!!!

    Scale speed is Real Speed

[color=#000000]Scale speed is Real Speed / square root of scale; (rule of thumb from my hydrodynamics book)
    Example]

      Thanks

      So a 1/72nd at 1.5mph

      Thanks

So a 1/72nd at 1.5mph underwater would be very close; nice to know I'm now on the right track
      Today I'll build the gearbox
