    Chuck,

    The boat is 31 inches

    Chuck,

The boat is 31 inches long. I forget the beam but pretty wide. Lots of room inside. Tower Hobbies has them and their service is great and fast delivery. I believe you can get the motors from them too. I order online from them all the time.

WTC comes from Dave Welch. He should have them available anytime now. The main tubes are 2.5 inches. This WTC he designed is a work of art and easy to build. When you buy a WTC kit from him you get a bunch of pictures showing every step. You also get instructions and a list of all the suppliers he used and links to them. Hard to go wrong.

        Your welcome Chuck. It's coming

Your welcome Chuck. It's coming along slowly. thus is the nature of a plug for a mold. Sand, fill and sand and fill some more. Hoping to shoot primer on it this weekend and start the missile deck plug next.

Merriman will start the sail and appendages molds next week. With any luck i'll have some kits to move in a couple of months.

If you start on a Seawolf please post you progress here.

          Byron (Collins Class),
That wasn't my vero board, PCB, or experimenter's board. It was a neat setup for controlling the RCABS, however. I just recently put the controls right on the servo, for a new project.
Thanks Art. It looked neat but large. I would imagine not a problem in a 3 inch WTC but looked like it would be a shoehorn into a 2 inch. Are there any minimum torque requirements to have the servo be able to activate the schrader vavle?

            Byron,
            A Hitec 55 will do

            Byron,
A Hitec 55 will do the job nicely. It doesn't take much to activate the valve or the switch. Get busy!

              Well guys the new WTC

Well guys the new WTC from Dave is finished. All the is left to do is test it. I did run the entire system last night

in dry dock and everything worked well the first time.

The Thor Design SC-20 is a honey. You can slow the prop rev's down so slow you can count them. Just great.

Tomorrow I'll test the the WTC alone under water for any possible leaks but if it's like the Kilo WTC I don't think I'll find any.

This WTC took less than 5 days to build. So Dave I think the kit is ready to go.

Great job!! now if the motors would ever get here for the Type 7.

                    Steve,
The boat is built and painted with the exception of the masts and antennas, With luck will finish those and install them this weekend. Pictures to follow. Question, did you have any problem with the draft marker decals splitting and breaking? I did, what a major pain.
                    Later.

Hey that's great news. Yes they were tricky. The ones that go on the sides of the upper rudder I ended up hand painting.

                        Well Dave has done it

Well Dave has done it again and here's the proof. I can't wait to take this boat to a lake and let it run. My pool is just too small but you'll get the idea.

This has been a great build and this so ends the thread for me but as I said in the VIIC thread please feel free to post your build of the Seawolf here and keep the thread alive.
