Cheap sub micro receivers and bits from GWS

I have just found that GWS are producing a very cheap ($29!!!) single conversion 6 channel 75mhz sub-micro receiver available here]http://www.tti-us.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=133[/url]
The 4 channel is only $25.... They also have a range of very reasonable sub-micro servos http://www.tti-us.com/shop...._id=239

These are not obviously up to the standard of the M5 dual conversion receiver however for those of us playing with kitbashing small subs, this is great, IMHO any

                    Hey Byron,

I got one. Put it the type seven and it was going crazy. Put it in the Seawolf and it's perfect.

In the Kilo it's location to the ESC and servos is right on top of them while the RX sits in the front compartment of the Seawolf WTC far away from the noise created by two servos, an ESC and the RCABS pump. I suppose it could be moved to the forward compartment on the Kilo but the old futaba AM RX works just great in the same spot.

In the Seawolf though I've had perfect operation even at distance on the lake.

I've used these recievers for several years in parkflyer planes. They are single conversion type and are not too selective in regards to glitching. They are sensitive to noise aka motor and speed control.
However, it might be worth a try for what they cost.

                          Hi guys
GWS recievers (as with most recievers) need to be as far as possable from anything that could possably cause interference (speed control, Motors etc.) having said that I have had good luck with the ones that I have, But all have been in small foam aircraft I do not think I would trust one in an expensive sub.
I have found a much better reciever, 6 channel full range, small not as small as GWS, that the helicopter guys are using, cheep $24.99 from Align, futaba compatable and these work great
