    Like Jeff said the x-rings

Like Jeff said the x-rings will seal very well, I use them in my big subs. But I have found them to put to much strain on the small motors and servos used in the Micro WTC's. They are a much tighter seal. I put one in my Kilo and the motor could not even spin the shaft any more. I put one in the V11C and the current doubled that the motors needed to spin the shafts. They are great in a larger sub were the bigger servos can handle the extra friction. The standard O-ring from a hardware store will do the job fine. Dave.

      Hi guys. I'm working on

Hi guys. I'm working on a new video of the Kilo in action. This video will show the boat under water as well as on the surface.

Also the video will show the triming of the boat and internal works of the WTC.

I should finish late tonight and post in time for the weekend. Thought you all need to see what a great job Dave did on this boat with his excellent WTC.

Hope none of you are still on dial up though. It's going to be around 100 megs. Nothing for cable to deal with just click and play or right click and download.

      Steve

          Jeff by any chance do

Jeff by any chance do you have the Mcmaster Carr part number?
...depends on what size you might need!

I have ones for both the 1/8" and 3/16" shaft sizes. The 1/8" sized ones are part number 006N70Q. The 3/16" sized ones are part number 008N70Q.

If these aren't the correct sizes for what you need, then you can go to McMaster-Carr and do a search on "o-rings" and then select "double seal". You'll be presented with a whole host of size options.
