Monogram's Flying Sub Kit - still in production?

After reading about Mark Jones' converted Monogram Flying Sub, I searched the web but couldn't find the kit, can anyone direct me to an online seller who sells this item? I don't know the scale of the kit and dimensions, thought I might use the micro Rc equipment in my Kilo to try bringing this kit to life.

    I think it's 1/64th scale,

I think it's 1/64th scale, and they seem to be getting scarce now.

You may want to try this place-

Give them a call. They're not listing it on their website, but they may have some in store.

        Nope! Sorry.

There are other models available, but they're different scales.

        Could always scratchbuild.

Well, browsed the web for further research, I saw something really neat models made by individuals outhere, including the one by Dave Merriman. Speaking of scratchbuilding, can anyone tell me a good place to order/find plans of the sub?

            Thanks!

I got my Flying Sub off Ebay. Here is one here http://cgi.ebay.com/ws....me=WDVW

Expensive I know. You should be able to shop around the net and pick one up though, they are still around....

                Check with Rick Teskey in

Check with Rick Teskey in Ontario Canada. I noticed on Ray Masons new SubRegatta 2004 DVD video, Rick had a smaller hull (16") for FS-1 than the one he has been selling (24"). Now that Monogram kits are getting so expensive, Ricks hulls would be a good alternative. I am out of town so I don't have his email address handy but he posts here from time to time, or if you are a SC member - just check your membership roster.
