Ok I'll have a good fashioned auction
Here are 2 brass props; with long version shafts; there are both hands i.e. 1 LH 1 RH both are already soldered and cleaned up but not profiled; you would need to file and thin the edges for scale apperance like the one pictured earlier (mine)
The short shaft is there just to show the longer shaft is quite a bit longer (50mm)
The shafts are normally $12 a pair for the short version
I will be adding $4 for a pair of long versions anyway; so if we say the shafts are already $16 and as i have no qlue as to the price of the props I'll add another $16 for the Reserve at $32 (if I can't get that it's not worth my while making them)
Ok guys you know how it works; post your bids; I'll let it run 3 days
ends Sunday at 10.30 am
Well to be truthfull; they rotate and propel ships or Uboats through the water; bigger versions with thiner blades can actually pull aircraft off the ground and make them stay in the air for as long and the device rotates; unbelieveable is it not
They are called Propellers
Smartguy! I meant which kit? As I can see now, it looks like they are for the Revell kit.
Well I'll start at the $40.00. I was going to order the periscopes and gun barrel any way. We'll see how many takers there are. I figure they are worth at least that.
Here's my set; all profiled Glad I made them; they look great
About 3/4hour per blade to make them like this; a small sq file (needle) and 600 wet-dry paper
Here are some periscope masters I just sent Paul Crozier for the Thor/Crozier Type XXI kit in 1/48 scale. Spiral wire added around attack scope neck after this production photo was taken. Not geared for multiple custom work.

It looks like your going to be getting a really good deal
Just wanted to let everyone know I received the shafts and propellers from Steve, (I Also decided to get the gun barrels and periscopes). As I sure you have seen from the photos the workmenship is top drawer and will really add to the finish of the model. I highly recommend the parts.
Everything got here in one piece. I guess you'd have to say your packaging was highly imaginative ( but functional). I was
thinking about options for packaging for you. Did you ever
try pvc tubing cut to the length of the product? You could use micro foam sheeting to pack inside and just tape ends. Alittle more costly than my packaging material ( empty ball point pen for scopes), but I think your buyers would put up with .50 cents more if it was even that much.
