      i'm getting already pictures

      hi Nova,

i'm getting already pictures from to boat via snailmail from alan down under.
i will try to post them.
i also plan on buying a hull from him.. just try to figure out the freight-costs..
if several people would buy one, the costs would be less though....

        I will try and get

I will try and get some electronic photos of Alan's 1/72 scale Typhoon. Give Cameron Glassford did the masters for the hull and appendages, and given that Alan has had the Typhoon at various regattas I've been to, I'll try and post some photos. I have just got to did them out of my archives.
When I last spoke to Alan I think he said the guy who in the US who had bought a hull kit before was in New York.
As far as scale fidelity is concerned, I know that the hull, hatches, scribing, and sail are pretty close comparators to the recent Subcommittee Report that covered the Typhoon in great detail. As an optional extra, if you want to have the missile hatches open Alan has a hatch kit for this and the scale fidelity of this feature is fantastic. Alan's kit also has the shrouds around the propellers.
I have been buying stuff from Alan now for about 10 years and he's always done the right thing by me.
I think the cost of the kit was around $600 Australian dollars (not including freight). Anyhow I'll try and get more details and shoot an e-mail off to Cameron Glassford at Model Submarine Systems Australia.
At one stage I was thinking that the hull could double as a great roof box. 1/72 Scale Typhoon is simply awesome!
