I wante dto share the size of the servo and ESC-01 sizes..then notice the ESC MTronics water proof esc...notice the size and the quarter next to the unit.. heheh that Kilo is going to get to try out some new electronics.

The reciever is a HiTech unit..small FM unit..



Steve might be right, I might be diving by the weekend.

Found this Dumas bronze prop

Found this Dumas bronze prop at the LHS for 15 bucks. Figured I try it on the Kilo. Sure looks better than the plastic one. Not scale but a big improvement.

I'll report soon how it works.

How about a shot of it's insides? did you tear apart an Xmod?

My Gearbox sure is loud; i think next time I'll use tooth belts for the reductions; bet it will sound like a torpedo in the pool

Yes that would be the S-100 Snellboot..I have not and refuse to
use an Xmod for the boat..too nice a toy to use for this unit.

I have set the tone for using micro electronics,pico servo and a aircraft motor..so far I've only drilled the shaft out and have I have a nice 3 bladed prop.. alittle larger than stock but for the purpose it will do just fine

I'm in no hurry to finish...I have too many thing going right now, the Shelby Dodge carshow I'm trying to get setup here in Town
and talking to City council to show them why we should have this event in our city.. there was more to this than I expected..
it's driving me crazy. :O
