    Noobie needs help! - don't mock me - I'm a sub-virgin

Ok - so I've got this Krick u-boat... quite pleased with myself actually as it's advertised in the UK at £240 for the basic kit - and I got it from Austria for just £69!

However, I've never made a boat model before, and I'm looking at all these huge vac-mouldings and the first question that springs to mind is 'how the #### do I glue this lot together!?'. Now - I gather that the Krick model is a 'wet hull' ? so I guess obtaining a water-tight seal on the main hull is not critical since it floods anyway (is that right?) -

but what glue do you guy use to get a good bond that will last? I'm guessing at contact cement (evo-stick) - or am I way off the mark?

there are several glues that work well for that kit I have build a few of them already
the best thing I can say is tack the parts together with thick ca (cyanacrolate super glue) then use tape to help hold the parts together and use either gorilla glue or liquid cement tenax 7r or weld on from plastruct these are the best as they fuse the plastic together
the hull is a wet hull with a failly large pressure hull
take you time reading the directions and make sure the motor shaft stuffing tubes are well sealed
