Control question - Ohio dive planes

I have a general question about the dive planes on something like the Ohio class - Are the dive planes independently controllable?

    The forward planes are controlled

The forward planes are controlled independently of the stern planes.

      I'll elaborate a bit. If

I'll elaborate a bit. If the boat has both bow and stern planes, it's highly desirable to control them independantly. The bow planes are "driven" with the right control stick on the transmitter to control depth. The stern planes are generally tied to an automatic pitch controller, to keep the boat level. You can override this with a control on your transmitter if desired, but usually they are "hands off" on a properly trimmed boat. Set up well, you can "fly" the boat with just the right stick.

      Hope this helps.
