Where would I get info on the materials and technique for making the deck on my sub? I have a balao class boat, about 6' long, that I have started and want to get back to work on. This is my current hang up...other than 4 kids to balance my hobby against. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...Chris

To my opinion the best
To my opinion the best way to construct a deck like this is the way discribed in SCR issue 21 june 1995 by Greg Bergman and Bill Nagle. It is very similar to the methods used in building the original.

The above mentioned SCR article is how many guys do fleet sub decks and has several good photos. It involves using Evergreen plastic strips of several different sizes.
