Traxxas XL-1 reversible ESC. I have one in a D&E Miniatures WTC 3. You need to cut off part of the heat sink fins so the battery will fit under the ESC. Cut the fins off at a 45 degree angle.

Traxxas XL1 is an excellent esc, but is rated for a maximum of 8.4 volts.

        Hi Steve,
You may want to stick with a ESC that has what is called Low Speed Priority. The ones that Thor, Subtech, and Mtroniks at Ships&Things sell. They are ment to give you better low speed control. You can get that WOMP-WOMP-WOMP on the prop. The ones made for race boats and cars do not usually have this feature. It is hard to maneuver a sub into dock when the motor starts spinning at a medium speed. Just something to keep in mind. Dave.

You will find that Hobbypeople and Hobby Warehouse are the CHEAPEST in the country.. and for the prices for the controllers and check out the motor selection..compare!

I tapped them for about 3 of those ESCs and I need 3 more
for my other projects and upgrades on my larger ships.

You should, their in the same state as you!

HobbyWarehouse is located in Berea Kentucky which is not far from the Cincinnati Area so I get my stuff like 1-2 days.

Good Controller..it will be used in my next three Sub projects and my son's Destroyer since his was fried back in Sept.

Matt I would be happy to buy what ever is needed from the vendors here if they supply the same equipment. Even if it costs a little more IMHO it would be better to support the community as I always try to do.

Who does carry such ECS's from our vendor list?

                              Thanks,
