    Radio Question

I've decided what radio to buy and I'm pretty near the point of purchase but I have a question. I'm going to get a robbe navy f-14 twin stick, I plan on having torpedoes, radar and scopes that work. First I want to get it to do the basics, dive, suface and steer so I can have some fun with it. The rest will happen over time, now here is the question. If I order the F-14 as a basic radio now, how hard is it to install the upgrade modules as my boat progresses, will I have to ship it somewhere to have it done or could a handy person (me) do the upgrades? I've done alot of work on computers (hardware and software) and tackle every job around my house that does'nt involve a big propane tank or my main power box (except for adding circuits).
Thanks in advance for your help.

The robbe F14 is a very easy radio to add channels too. If you can read and plug in servo leads you can upgrade an F14. I have done this for other people and can help you should the need arise.

      Thanks Jim,
I'm going to contact Ships and things in the next couple of days to find when they are expecting more radios. I have to get off this stupid set of hours I'm on first.
