That huge ship is the Nautilus, yes, it is a sub, it did this cool emergency surface when Mr. Hyde pulled down the ballast blower after the bombs stuck. If you didn't see the movie, there's a good view of the scene in the trailer.

Still waiting for HobbyLink Japan to carry the styrene kit. They promise they will have it one day. Maybe after it comes out and gives us an idea of the size and scale, someone will build an R/C version.
