    HITech Ranger III Radio - Anybody use them?

    [color=#0000FF]Well I've been looking into buying a new radio w/3 channels
    and the HITech Ranger III seems to be a good one to start with, 3 channels and FM 75Mhz.., for $70 bucks it's slightly more than the AM units I use for my ships!

    Has anybody use one before and how do you like it?

    range/performance/cost.

    for the type of use I have, 3 channels are all I need for the small subs.

    Remember that 3rd channel is not on the sticks with that radio. Throttle is loaded to center and you have right and left control only. I suppose if you go with a ballast tank you could use the 3rd channel for that but if you use it for dive planes it could be awkward.

      Thanks Steve, been working on that idea for my Kilo Sub.

      going to stick with a Dyno diver with her and my Bigger Uboat for now. Might have something to show off soon.
