Polk hobbies radios not the only ones with - frequency scanners now

instead of crystals. I was watching Inside R/C last night, looking for the long lost sub regetta episode, and one of the larger manufacturers (not futaba or JR) but one of the others is coming out with their radios having the scanners like Polk hobbies, so we are not limited to their ugly radios.

    Do you mean the Royal

Do you mean the Royal Evo line of radios? So far their synthesized scanner systems are on 72 MHz - aircraft only. The sanner unit is an option on the radio. Even the Tower Hobbies price is more than the Polks Tracker II and Tracker III systems. The Multiplex Evo systems will only work with Airtronics and JR positive pulse servos and ESC's. Most of the guys in my local boat club use Futaba radios.
