RKC ]http://www.subcommittee.com/forum/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] ) I have noticed that especally the hardner (West Systems #206) DOES smell pretty harch, when smelling it really close, and "raw", but I havn't noticed any fatique, head acke, or any thing else.. yet..

That still makes it a pretty bad idea, I guess... or have I misunderstood your reply?
Some might argue "Why ask now?" Well, A) I'm not done, and B) I have a Typhoon in similar scale in thought when done with the Ohio.

      All resins are poisonous and

All resins are poisonous and should be treated with the appropriate respect. Read the instructions!!!

Epoxy has amines in it which can sensitize you. MEKP in polyester resins cause me TERRIBLE allergic reactions. After several years of laying parts up with polyester I became sensitized to it. That is why I ended up going to epoxy as I could no longer work with polyester.

Both can bite you. Whichever you chose, use the proper safety gear, have plenty of fresh air and ALWAYS use gloves.

Ok... Well, I did read the instructions, but didn't respect the warnings much, as they looked not much different than many other things, even things found in normal homes.. but NOW I will, THX. Sorry to hear about your problems with Poly, Matt..

            I've got a friend in

I've got a friend in New Zealand who became sensitized to epoxy, and had a pretty bad reaction to it. Now he's switched to styrene.

I use West Systems epoxy, and have never had any problems. But due to my friend's experience, I always use rubber gloves, wear eye protection, and mix it in my garage with plenty of ventilation.
