Nautilus Drawings from 1982 - A complete, detailed design

A lot of folk are familiar with my Nautilus site, which features many non-Goff visions of the submarine. Every once in a while someone who sees the pages has some until-now unshared material. Jean-Pierre Bouvet offered me a complete, very detailed design he drew in the late 70s and early 80s. With his kind permission, I'm happy to provide a view into that material on this new page]http://home.att.net/~michael.crisafulli/Nautilus/Bouvet/Bouvet.html[/url]

    Thanks Michael!!!

Very nice artwork! A lot of work went into those interiors - my gosh...

The exterior looks a little blunt though. "Like a needle through sailcloth"? I don't think this design could do that.

    But those interiors are FANTASTIC!

      One of the nice things

One of the nice things about my Nautilus page is offers like this, and every once in a while one's a treasure. Jean-Pierre has received at least one comment on the shape and provided me some thoughts on it and a modified drawing, but I wanted to preserve the original form. I do wish I could provide all the material - there's even a detailed diving suit - but what's there gives the flavor.
