    Hi there,

I Live in South Africa and possibly one of about 10 who are passionate about subs,I Have a Eden kit of the Trafalgar Class HMS Trenchant which has been operating for some 4 years now, yes the model has been extensively modified and will send pics if you are interested? I also have a Robbe U47 which is still in the Box however want to start this project soon and am looking to fit automatic levelling systems in both subs could you advise as to where these are available? Have downloaded some info on torpedoes, yet you may have some specific source of reference?

In the model boats magazine Nov 2004 they have an article on a gathering of guys and their subs and torpedoes in Australia do you have any contacts down there?

    Regards,

    The SubCommittee has many members

The SubCommittee has many members in Australia. Chime in gentlemen!

I want to know more about your Eden kit of the Trafalgar Class HMS Trenchant (now Sheerline). I too have a heavily modified model too which I enjoy very much. I have a custom WTC-4 operating in the vessel built by Willy Oudmayer and have done extensive detailing and some changes to the sail (fin), pumpjet shroud, flank arrays, ballast tank vents (spray misters), flood vents, hull penetrations, masts.... phew. Turns reasonably well considering the 'lamp shade' in the back. Tell us more about your boat, show us your pictures, love to see them please.

    Steve
