    Lately I've been on my

Lately I've been on my honeymoon in Michigan..Mackinaw Island and the U.P.! and I started back to work for now so I could test it but the water is going to be very cold.. unless I can find a heated pool in the Lebanon area. from the early test I've seen so far just sitting in the pool, my weight in the back was alittle on the high side, causing her to sit lower in the water in the back, but for now I think I might let that slide. I do need time to water test but the temp outside keeps me from doing anything for now.
unless I can get one warm day and find a shallow pond around here.

that's all the pictures of the guts, it's crude and simple and the next oen will have the improvements built into it, I need to setup my steering linkage like U812 has his, I like his idea better than mine and it cuts down on the weight of the sub.
my only change might be to put everything in the dry next time.

                I might do one of

I might do one of two things, I know that U812 is using magnets to hold his down to the hull, I've been thinking about making the the deck one piece and using 4 magnets or the old fasion way, paper clips and rubber bands...that has worked like a charm in the past, you just have to remember to replace the RB every year.

What size servos are you guys using, are these standard or mini's? Looks like your making good progress, I'm still collecting parts and this project is on the back burner.... thanks Jeff Jones

                    rear end of Uboat..mini servo,

rear end of Uboat..mini servo, front diving planes standard size
servo , both operating in the wet

I could make the ESC in the wet since it's water proof and that would free up some room for much larger batteries say "D" size NhMs which are 4500Ah rated so you see where I'm going with this on the next boat, I have better idea starting to come and the next boat I will do a "picture of the day" building process.
