Radio battery trouble

Hi everyone,

I have not used my radio equipment for about a month or two, and when I recharged the battery it recharged EXTREMELY slowly. It finally got up to 60% power but then stopped. By the way, the radio is almost brand new.

Any ideas what the problem could be?

Batteries are funny things, try a couple of cycles (recharge/discharge) an see what happens.

Are they nicads or NiMH?

You shouldn't have too many problems with batteries of that age, to be honest.
