Can anyone tell me if a 2" dia x 1/16 wall tube by approx 11" long will take approx two to three foot depth without problems? How about an 1 1/2" tube with the above wall and length? This one for a pressure tank.

cadman,
what material is the tube
cadman,
what material is the tube made of? PVC? acrylic? lexan?

That'll be fine. Acrylic is
That'll be fine. Acrylic is very rigid and withstands pressure much better than other plastics.
A test I use for my pressure hulls, although unscientific, is to sit on them.
If they can take 12 stone of my derriere then they're strong enough IMHO!

A quick note about end
A quick note about end caps in an acrylic tube...
You might want to seal on the ends of the tubing as opposed to wedging a plug with an o-ring seal in the end. I've heard rumors that after a while, the acrylic tubing is prone to cracking due to the steady pressure that the o-ring puts on the end.
Greg Sharpe's design calls for the orings to seal on the end faces as opposed to the inner one, with the two caps connected via twin threaded rods to maintain pressure on the faces.
For $20 or so, his WTC plans are a good investment. Check out Greg's WTC plans here. The Nautilus Drydocks - Exceptional Products for the World of R/C Submarines - www.nautilusdrydocks.com

I should have said Polycarbonate
I should have said Polycarbonate tubing which I think Lexan is. (Yes/No?)
Go to http://www.mcmaster.com/. They don't show the url for the page so I can't post a direct link. At the main page scroll down and on the right side look for Raw Materials and Springs. Click Plastics and then scroll down to Polycarbonates and click. Then click the Hollow tube image to see all the sizes they carry.
My end caps were made from Polystyrene solid rod turned on a lathe. It machines very well and they have it up to 2" dia.
If you want to mail your order in just email or give them a call to get the shipping/handling for your order.
