Securing WTC cradles and Foam - Glues to Use?

After reading Dave Merrimans hints as to trimming a submarine, I came to a conclusion I needed to rip all the weights and foam out of mu sub and start over. As I tore out the foam I noticed that my WTC supports came out a little to easy and the foam was a little to hard. I was wondering what everyone was using to secure thier supports and foam?

    Any advise would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    You can use 24 hour

You can use 24 hour epoxy, or polyester resin and chopped rovings, or epoxy resin and matt.

I prefer the middle option, although I work mostly with polyester resin hulls, so that makes sense. If you are building with an epoxy glass hull or ABS/Styrene then the other two options may be the better choice

Make sure you key the hull well with some sandpaper, this gives a good key for the resin/adhesive.

        hi Kyle, for "glueing" in

hi Kyle, for "glueing" in the foam, on an epoxy or poly hull try using blue or red automotive gasket sealer 'RTV". You can also glue foam to foam with this stuff. I have never had a problem using it in this manor. Jeff Jones
