      I remember somebody talking about

I remember somebody talking about it but I never can remember who converted it over, this was earlier this year in a message over the Revel VII Uboat..

Now if I can only find one of the I19, they are hard to find!

          I started one, then shelved

I started one, then shelved it when my SEAWOLF showed up. Will probably restart it this winter after another project is done.

                  Yes I did take some

Yes I did take some photos, but I had a computer failure between then and now. Lost everything on my hard drive. Need to go through some of my backups.

                      Now I have some time

Now I have some time to play again with this one, I figured out how to join the two halves together so I can service the inside with no pains! the Conningtower w/deck can be removed to expose the single bolt that holds the two hulls together. I need to get ahold of Mr Jones and see what componants I can use(Micro reciever, servo, ect ect) from what I can see the I19 will make a nice RC conversion but looks to be tricky since it's very small and most of the electronics are going to be in the wet unless I can make some kind of WTC or WTH (water tight housing) for everythign to go into. I plan on using the 280 motor in the rear feeding the gearbox, it will be in the wet for now unless replacing it every other week gets on my nerves.

Any ideas from the group would be very nice!

                          Hey Mark,

                          This is a sub

                          Hey Mark,

This is a sub that requires a lot of thought. I have this sub also. Many times I have thought about converting it, but I can't seem to figure out how to make it so that I can gain excess to the components and keep them water tight. I am trying to no longer build them without excess. I will look at it again. If I get some insite or inspiration I'll let you know.

                              I found that ESC from

I found that ESC from Airtronics you told me about, it's now running for 25.99!!! I'm going to snag some as soon as possible, this is idea for the subs and small ships I have that I have been dying to convert over to RC!

now how small do servos get?
