WTC strap for a Sherline Akula

Can anyone provide an insight and/or pictures on how to install the brass hold down strap for the WTC on a Sherline Akula kit? I am also curious of the location of the strap!

    Thank You,

    Rick

    If you send me

    Rick
If you send me a PM with your e-mail address I'll send some pictures of the strap when I get back home on Friday. There are two types of bands,
One which goes completely around the WTC with just one bolt through the bottom of the hull, and the older type which consists of two straps each bolted to the side of the hull.
The band sits across the centre of the ballast tank and goes around the tie rods.

Away from home all this week so I'll try it when I get back. My last attempt at posting pictures was a successful failure!

Never Received any PM with your e-mail address. However, I'm going to try downloading the pictures to the Members Homepage as soon as I get a log in from Bob.

I hadn't realised that the log in is different from the normal SubCom one - probably asleep on the day the info was posted.
