Dirty wiring practices - an one prone to this practice??

    ???

does anyone subscribe to this practice ? I have just started doing it and I have noticed a nice decrease in radio chatter and noise
I runt he power cables up one side and all radio gear down the opposite side just wondering if I am the only nut taking the extra time to do this

    Ummm...no offense but I thought

Ummm...no offense but I thought this was common knowledge? You never run signal and power wires next to each other, in ANY circuit(unless there is absolutely no way around it)

One of the things I have done in the past on projects that require multiple conductors, is using shielded ethernet cable. You could use that also, but the shielded audio cable works really really well, but you only get three conductors.(all you need for a servo though)

          ok but doesn't that void

ok but doesn't that void the warrenty from the manufacturer on the esc and radio gear????????????

I can see doing it with main power cables to battery and to esc but anything else that would be an out of pocket expense for the customer !

            Hi Charles]http://www.subcommittee.com/forum/icon_sad.gif

            When wires

            Hi Charles]http://www.subcommittee.com/forum/icon_sad.gif[/img]

When wires are placed next to each other, "cross talk" can occur. To minimize this we either have to filter out the junk or seperate the signals. Two other approaches are one]http://www.subcommittee.com/forum/icon_razz.gif[/img]

Best approach (I think) is heavy grounds and keeping things seperate. If you do end up with a project that gives you problems, please feel free to call me or e-mail and we can trouble shoot it together.
