    Delta IV - Any out there?

    Has anyone out there built or building a Delta IV?

      Dear wayne,

      I have not built a Delta but it's been aboat on the back of my mind. I have always thought that It possesses alot of personality and alot of drainage holes.

      The closest I come is my Chinese Type 092 Xia. A kinda similar looking boat in some ways.

      the Deltas are the backbo0ne of the russian SSBN force at the moment. It would be really good to see someone build one, and not another typhoon for a change.

      i would love to see pics of it if you build it,

          Actually,aside from being bigger,close to Typhoon lenght,it should make a nice 1/96 kit.The Delta IV does not have those zillion holes at the base of the missle section.
          It would make a nice boat.Maybe a builder is watching here to see if anyone would post an interest in this as a kit.
          It would be less material than a Typhoon,but still big. It would be a high end kit,no doubt.
          I would like to see it.

                  The Beluga was a one off experimental boat. Much like our Albacore. I have heard a few people would like to see a Victor kit.
                  I still think a Delta IV,the largests and newest,and current version of the Deltas,would be pretty awsome in the water next to a Virginia kit.
                  What fun!

                      Personally I would prefer both lol! The victor protecting the boomer bastion...

                      Seriously, I would have to go with a Victor III, it really is an awesome boat, but I am partial to the later flights of russian attack boats.
