Try to get some more receivers going, find out if any bugs comes with these JR receivers.
They don't pop up in the used market, like futaba receivers.

Try looking for the Novak xxtra receivers. The are multiple frequencies and can be used for positive and negative shift and are 5 channels

Is a 7 channel receiver, using ESC with BEC, the battery connector is ch 7, nice and small.will work with Futaba, in 75mhz with out jumper change.

                  Those are 72MHz correct?
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Yes, build as 72Mhz. Also for VEX, futaba transmitter, but need a JR crystal.

Out of the bag, not thing has to tuch.
                    Good for small sub.

One thing to ask. DID JR ever make a 12 channel PPM 72MHz transmitter ?
