Opinions wanted for #D sub build

Soooo... I'm letting my printer churn out a large boat, one section at a time.

I'm thinking ahead to the actual assembly of the pieces, and I'm torn. Should I attempt to sand everything smooth and fill the inevitable seams between sections, or just glue it all together and leave it as is, basically just letting it be what it is, a printed boat? We spend so much time and work so hard to get our boats absolutely perfect and seamless. What if I attempted the exact opposite?

I see the effort people put into smoothing out their 3D boats, and the modeler in me thinks it's worth the work to make it look good. Just my humble opinion.

what if you finished one side and left the other side raw to show the difference? If you got tired of a two faced boat you could go back and finish the raw side.
