    ram sound boards/interfearance

hey gang I need advise I have installed 4 sound boards in a robbe u47 and seem to have some jittery problems with the aft planes servo when the sounds are activated
this is how its all connected
motors and bow servo as well as rudder are in the rxand work great
there is a robbe 12+2 decoder(f14 navy radio) installed the ram instructions are quite simple and the activation board for the sounds is servo driven so that is on a servo channel and works fine but when I coonect the aft planes to ther other servo channel on the decoder and activate the sounds the aft planes go nuts jitter up and down ( they are connected via an apc4 )

what could be causing this to happen ?
I checked all contections for any lose fits and all is well
I am not sure if dirty wiring could be the culprit as I have not separated the dirty form the clean
    please help
I would like the aft planes to be independant form the bow but if this mystifies with out a clear solution then it will have to be connected via a Y to the bow planes what would this do sonce the bow is run thru a ADC
    please help

    Chuck, I suspect the trouble

Chuck, I suspect the trouble is with the APC 4. I have a
jitter with my rear dive planes on my Albacore sub when
I move the rudder servo the dive plane servo jitters. If I
set the jumper to minimum sensitivity the jitter is reduced.
I haven't experimented to with other servo's or receivers
yet to try and eliminate the problem. Let me know if you
find a fix. My equipment is Airtronics VG400 radio, APC 4,
    Hi Tec mini servo's.
    Regards, Brian

        Sounds like you might have

Sounds like you might have the APC-4 plugged into the Robbe 12+2 Decoder, rather than a spare receiver channel. I've noticed some minor servo jitters in servos that are driven by the decoder on one of my boats.

Try driving the APC with the receiver, OR cut the signal wire to just 'power' the APC-4 by itself.

        Good luck!

          matt I would love to

matt I would love to put in on the rx but there is no room using srobbe f 14 dual stick so right stick is up down bow planes left right rudder
do you mean disconnect the white wire from the servo style plug on the apc if so I will give that a try thanks again
what would happen if I drove the apc thru a y with the adc

If you contact Al at Ships n' Things, he can modify your receiver for an 8th channel rather than stock 7 channels. Then you would have another channel! Just as an FYI, the APC does not require the "signal" lead to operate.
