Newly retooled 1/96 Seawolf model by SubmarineWorks

SubmarineWorks Seawolf class retooled with full MIP coating details is almost ready.
The master is complete and I’ve begun laying up the 4-part mold to cast hull kits available soon.

      WOWSER!
      Looks like an amazing re-tooling.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Mold work continues on the Seawolf after a little redirection. Because of undercuts on both sides of the hull I’ve determined it will need a five piece mold with three sections on the top instead of 2. I’m glad I’ve taken the time between layups of the mold pieces or I was likely to have gone through a lot of time and money only to have the mold locked into the master.

Mold complete. Pulled from master successfully. Needs a little touch up and then it will be ready to start laying up hulls.
