Y connector

Can someone show me how to put together a Y connector with Deans plugs? Or direct me to how-to video.

Are you trying to do parallel or serial?

or 2 LiPo 7.2v batteries do you want 14.4v or double the mAh?

No, connecting the motor and pump to the battery. Am I saying this right?

thought you meant battery and did a crayon drawing for you. You want to do the parallel.


The difference is the battery connection on top needs to be male and the bottom two need to be female. Does that make sense?

In my Skipjack Subdriver, I'm using 1 battery and I need to connect it to both the ballast pump and the propulsion motor..............In my head I think I have it figured out..........It would look similar to your drawings.......

If you are going to power two motors, propulsion and ballast pump, at least one will require a speed controller.
The propulsion motor.
The pump may be on off.

Work from the motors back to the battery.
That way you will have the speed controller in the system.
And any switch type for the pump.

Then join the 2 pairs of 3 wires at the Dean's plugs.

The propultion speed control will connect to the battery and the Rx will connect to the speed controller to speed.

The pump switch will connect to the battery and the Rx will connect to operate the switch.

I plan to be there.

My Skipjack originally had a main motor and pump motor.
Iused a speed controller on the pump as well as the main motor.
It made it easier to set the pump speed.
Then I modified to piston.

The Gato on the work bench has a main motor and pump motor
Both with speed controllers.

I am sure we can get your system wired up to do what yuo want it to do.
