While lurking around in a hobbie shop the other day, I overheard one of the guys there talking about brushless motors.A few minutes ago, I was looking at the Multiplex site and saw a link to them.Clicking there, I read they claim to have up to 3 times the power output.
I also seem to remember overhearing one gets longer run times from a brushless motor also.
Kind of odd I have not seen any mention of it on this site.
Sure would like to see some feedback on the advantages and disadvantages(if any) of using these motors. If they are more powerful, can someone give a conversion rule as far as comparison to a,say standard pittman 500.Like is a 400 brushless got more beans than a 500 pitman, or 600 brushless have the punch of a 900 pittman,etc..Of course, longer run times would be benifical also. If the only disadvantage is initail cost, I would do that.
Lets hear from you guys!
