The Wolf's Call

I watched a movie recently (Amazon or Netflix - not sure)
Le Chant ou Loup or The Wolf's Cry - a French movie. I enjoyed it.

There is a little language and a little nudity in one scene.

If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Never heard of it. What's the plot?
Warm regards,

Hmmm, what to say without giving up much. A sonar man with great ears helps identify a sub. Now typing that makes it look boring, but it is more than just that it includes the world is about to go into full nuclear launch.

Watched it today. I was moderately impressed with it. For a French movie, it was great. The version I watched had English overdubbed and they did a fantastic job with that. It tried very hard to create the kind of tensions felt in something like Crimson Tide. They partially succeeded. Good enough to hold my interest all the way through. A couple twists and turns I didn't see coming. Overall a decent times-relevant global adventure movie based on board a French boomer with the captain's finger on the trigger.

If you are into file sharing, I have a version of this movie in .mp4 movie file format, at 1.99gb in size (the movie is in full HD). I would be happy to share it with anyone with a Dropbox account.

With nuclear war looming, a military expert in underwater acoustics strives to prove things aren't as they seem — or sound — using only his ears.

The Wolfs Call

Not bad for a movie. I did notice that when there were fires onboard that there was very little smoke. We had more smoke than that when we lost one of our generators. But then movies are rarely completely realistic.

Overall not a bad movie, it took a little time before things started to get good.
