Beautiful brass work, but gosh! How much does the tower weigh in at?

Gorgeous craftsmanship. I love the alignment jig for the drive shafts.

I continue to work on the model. Today I made and began to install a mechanism for opening the front horizontal rudders.
Since the operation of these rudders during the immersion of the model is ineffective, I discarded that part of the mechanism that changes the angle of inclination of the rudders, and left only the opening mechanism.Click image for larger version

The right side of the model's case remained unchanged, and the left side is cut into 3 parts. The middle part will be glued to the right half, and the bow and stern parts will be removable to provide access to the mechanisms.Click image for larger version

Work on the T-Class boat continues. The question arose: "how to cut the case to install motors and electronics?" After much thought, I decided not to cut the case at all, but to leave two halves connected by bolts. But the problem arose: “how to connect the propeller to the motors. After all, they are located in different halves of the body.
I decided to remove the motors from WTS and isolate them from water in small tight cylinders. And connect them to the batteries, which are located in the WTS with waterproof contacts. This technical solution gave me free access to all the details inside the case and allowed me to avoid the longitudinal or transverse cuts that so distort the model.
