What type of glue should I use to attached the WTC saddles to a fiberglass hull? I used JB Weld and it worked fine for a few days, and then simply broke off.......
Farlan, fiberglass is something I am still learning on. Roughing up the surfaces and making sure it is oil free are two keys (both the hull and WTC saddles). I have also used CA with rubber (IC-2000). That seems to hold well as well. I will also expect other with a lot more experience share their way too.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.
I also put screws into parts through the hull. I did not do it on my saddles, but other parts I started to and combined with glue made it a great combination.

Before roughing up the fiberglass surface, use a paint thinner or (better yet) acetone to thoroughly wipe down the area to remove any wax that may be on the surface. If you wait to wipe until after roughing it up, you will have almost certainly embedded wax into the fiberglass.
As for 'glue'.....I'm a fan of using epoxy on fiberglass. The longer the set time the better.

Reason: ...fixed auto spell (wipe vs, wife). LOL!

What Jeff said. Surface prep makes the difference.
I have used Devcon plastic welder successfully on "polyester based" fibreglass (we use polyester more here in the UK , I think you use epoxy more in the US.)
And additional screw fixings have got to be a good idea too.
