Hello
Harper Goff not only created Disney's iconic Nautilus but then drew up the plans for the next version - the much grander "Nautilus 2" (presumably for a sequel that unfortunately never occurred). He told Tom Scherman ("the world's greatest fan of all things Nautilus") who then naturally had to build a physical model which has apparently surfaced in the upcoming "Profiles in History" Hollywood Auction 96 running from December 11-14, 2018 with two port side views shown.
Look for entry "795. Tom Scherman's Large Nautilus 2 maquette based on Harper Goff's design. (ca. 1990s)" on page 221 of their Hollywood Auction 96 catalog.
Using the "Flipbook" version: http://www.profilesinhistory.com/fli...dex.html#p=222
If you prefer there is also the pdf version - but be warned it can take a while to load all 604 pages - then go to page 223: https://profilesinhistory.com/wp-con...HollywoodS.pdf
Over the years I have seen references on the Internet and remember that somebody had even started to create a 3d computer model as well.
I would be very interested to know if Harper Goff's "Nautilus 2" plans are available - especially in digital form.
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide.
