Now that's a submarine movie if I ever saw one since the days of Red October.

The only thing that scares me is it's done by the same people that did The Fast and the Furious series. I'm hoping it's not just a blow-em-up-shoot-em-up type of action movie that just happens to have a submarine in it.

          Submariners do NOT say "Oorah"

Might be fun in a cartoony kind of way though.

Sorry, Boomer, but I found out, much to my disdain and discomfort, that the baby nukes were getting "Ooorah!" training during nuke school in South Carolina. This was several years ago, and, hopefully, the practice has stopped!

But, technically, and on the other hand, baby nukes are not technically submariners. I suspect the coners would slap the crap out of anyone yelling Ooorah! unless was after a particularly bad PD evolution, late nite, State 5 seas, and all housekeeping evolutions have to be done in 5 minutes, including ventilating the ship and catching the satellite. Then, maybe, they would let an Ooorah! slide.

We have to go back, Bill. We have to save them from themselves...
Now that would make a GREAT movie!
