    Another Lipo question

Can a Lipo battery be left untouched for several weeks and still be able to be charged and function normally? I have found time to work on my SD and it appears that my Lipos are not holding a charge..........

    Thx

Yes. For long-term storage it is recommended that the battery *not* be left fully charged. Most LiPo chargers have a setting that allows the battery to only be charged (or discharged) to a storage charge level.

      Define "several" weeks. Two? Twenty?

It's normal for LiPos to lose a charge over time, but not massively significant. Holding at full charge rather than storage charge can affect the battery over time, but if these are new(ish) batteries, you should still have a decent amount of charge, even after "several" weeks.

I'm in the medical/aerospace LIPO business. Lipo should be stored at 30% SOC (state of charge) for optimum performance. After run, do go through the discharge process if you're not going to use it in a week.
