    Moebius/revell skipjack options

Hi to all, am thinking to convert the 72 scale skipjack to rc, what are the options I have to buy a dedicated conversion kit? Are there more than one kits available in the market?

There are options out there. Bob Martin at Nautilus Drydocks carries a SAS sub driver that'll also need servos, a receiver, two way water proof switch, and ESC. Then there is R&R models out of the UK that also make a WTC that looks like it'll need the same components. Both come highly recommended. I'm in the middle of setting up a Nautilus Drydocks sub driver for the 1/72 Revell Gato myself.

To be clear, R&R does not make a sub-driver. Sub-driver is a trademark name for David's WTCs.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

        Tom,

Good catch on correct use of the Sub Driver name!

R & R Engineering offers two "conversion kits" for the Revell Skipjack...a piston-based and a pump-based version...that include the parts needed to make the sub a working model.

Nautilus Drydocks also has a conversion kit for this boat that can be ordered along with the Sub Driver to scheme the same thing.

Thank you for the info, both kits looks very nice, for what i understand David Merriman and Nautilus are the same thing. I will try and take a closer look at both kits and came back if i need anything else.
