I am working on a CAD design of the Red October based a number of different image sources both from behind the scene shots and other peoples attempt to model it albeit inaccurate. I hope to produce a more accurate adaptation of the screen model. I will then be 3d printing it up in a Nylon / Carbon Fiber at about 12" as I've always wanted a more accurate model of this "sub-ject". The only offering ever provided was the revell version which lacked any accuracy to the screen model.

Here is the first screen shot from the printing job. I am going to have to run two seperate jobs. I decided to go with this as a 24" hull instead due to the size of the props. I am also going to get the props printed in metal somewhere else.
I still have to print 3 middle sections because this hull is so long as the movie version was. Seen here:
You can see it's long. so I will run a second print set which will include the 3 mid sections, and the forward and rear dive planes, which I forgot to include on this run. Oh well. There is still two details I need to add to the middle sections. The ICBM hatches of which there are 16 rows, and the dive planes.

Your last photo.
I have seen that before.
Better yet, I remember where I saw it.
