Anyone know of RELIABLE water-proof servos that can be placed outside the WTC without getting themselves flooded?

there is no such thing as a truly waterproof servo. the only servos sold today with an actual IP rating are the blue hitec that ekloss refers to, and they are rated at IP67, which means that they will remain operative in water up to 1 meter (39") deep, for up to 30 minutes. none of the other servo manufacturers list IP ratings for their servos, because they, in truth, are only water resistant, meaning they are good to go in an offroad car, and wont be destroyed if you drive through a puddle. anything else, and they won't honor their warranty. the savox website specifically states "This is a great upgrade if your looking to drive your RC vehicle in any condition...rain, sleet, or snow." nothing about putting your "vehicle" at the bottom of a pool...
buy a half dozen of the hitec, and be prepared to replace them when they fail. design the installation so they can be removed and replaced.

A few years ago I hunted down a gentleman who had written an article about waterproofing servos. He responded with that eventually they all had to be replaced and recommended putting them in a dry space and not in the wet. There may be ways to prolong the life while in the wet and I still see people filling servos with silicon and spraying components. So, it ultimately will come down to maintenance and as Tim said having extra servos at hand.If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.
