    Negative pressure

I have acquired a RCABS WTC and was reading from various sources how it operates. One source indicated that to start the bladder should be full and the wtc should have a slight negative pressure. Can someone tell me how the negative pressure can be obtained? One of the two outside caps has a bicycle valve in it.

I'd try starting with the bladder empty and WTC closed tight. Then start your air pump to inflate the bladder resulting in the WTC having a negative pressure. Problem is you don't want a negative pressure large enough to cause water leaking into the WTC through the shaft and servo linkage seals. How to get the right pressure? Trial and error i guess. I once blew an end cap off my WTC when I released the pressure in the bladder. Good luck.
