#2 and #3 are modifications to the original build.
Things that where changed.
#2 show the changing of the main motor to the Engels motor for submarines and I enlarged the ballast tank system.
#3 which I am just about finished with, show cutting the bow off the original Z cut hull to make the hull a center line cut.
I really would have like to have done this in the beginning with the new hull.
I also changed the control rod seals from o-rings to rubber boots.
The Akula II has rubber boots and they are easier to install and work well without the mess of grease.

Now a suggestion.
Next time at the Yorba Park gathering, take a look at Will's Skipjack.
It is such a clean build.
I am looking forward to seeing you and a Skipjack at Yorba Regional Park! It is a wonderful sub that goes together well and has a lot of speed to it. I dialed back my transmitter to something like 35% maximum forward speed. What a fun sub!
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.
