    Wet sub build

I have been working on a very obscure wet hull Minisub build.
It was so cool (strange) looking I knew it was a project for me.
About 4 years ago at the Carmel Subregatta Virgil Brown showed me photos of this sub.
He had always wanted to scratch build one. I collected all the info I could which was not much and drew up some plans. I am not going to say what it is. Just curious if anyone has ever seen one.
More info to follow. Here is your one photo. BDClick image for larger version

Looks like a very early two man college pedal boat project.

The sub was manufactured by the Aerojet General Corp. It is called the Mark 6 Minisub.
It was available in electric and human powered versions.
The sub was 12'6" long, and mine will be 16.5" making it about 1/9 scale.
It was actually used in a movie years ago. At least one still exists and is at a museum in FL.
It was the large slow turning counter rotating props that hooked me.
            More to come. BD

It is a very interesting and unusual design. I haven't come across this one before. Good luck with the project.
