Old rc guy back in the saddle .

I'm Stu guys an Aussie. G'day.
Been in to RC for about 40 years, always scale planes , heli's,cars, trucks tanks and boats, mostly larger scales as my eyes got older right but never had a sub .
Just bought a 2nd hand Robbe Seawolf V1 obviously built by a craftsman , fiddled with it a bit just needs a RX and TX . which I think I just found with an old 1024 Futaba tx/rx in 36hz (collectors dream right) , sat her in the water sat down with decks awash , perfect , sat her for half an hour and she was awesome sitting there, she took in a tiny bit of water slightly a teaspoon full . Found the tiny weep at the stern tube/wtc join(fixing).
I've wanted a black sub for years , nearly pulled the trigger on an Engel"Typhoon" or "Akula" or a Revell "Gato" or Krick "type 7C" etc, etc a hundred times but never did.
Found this sub on a RC site for sale and wanted site for about $150 US , absolute bargain all it needs is a RX/tx as the speed control, servo's,battery etc is all in her.
Will post up about her in a build /resurrection post with pics soon, I'm a little IT confused at times .
I play MMO games as well , currently it's War Thunder , my handle/IGN is badness , we have a TS channel too if ya'll are up for that to say hey. If there's anything you need over here in OZ give us a yell , A tidy blond with big hooters is apparently unlawful to send , who'da thunk it???
I own a black sub man , how freaking awesome is that !!
    Cheers Stu.

    Good find.
As far as the leak goes, have yout removed all the o-rings and checked for cracks.
If no cracks then a little bit of silicone grease on the o-rings should help.

The leak isn't actually in the stern tube it's where it's received at the WTC , where it passes thru to the gearbox/motor . So yea if you know a good filler/glue/bog , I'd appreciate that , I'll just coat the whole area with whatever is the best for the job.
I gave the stern tube a 1/4 shot of marine grease with a grease gun(we're fishermen by trade) and there was good pressure in the stroke , and yea some exited out at the prop end at a pinch , but none at the gearbox end so I'm probably good that end for now but yea what you've said is a good to do maintenance deal hey. This boat balanced perfectly in the water so yea the guy knew his stuff.
THX Ralph for the input man you know the get go here obviously.
      Cheers.
